Knitting Knights updates on Mondays.

About the comic:

Knitting Knights is a comic for knitters, by a knitter!

When Cassie Martin was dragged into a yarn store by her best friend, she never imagined that she might be the one chosen to save the world! As Knitting Knight Kureya, she must battle the Moths sent to attack the earth by the evil Empress Luna, as well as make sure that her secret identity remains secret. With all the excitement, how will she ever find time to knit?

About the author:

Yaviiniia (or ‘Vii’ for short) is a homeschooled highschooler who loves both knitting and drawing, and decided to combine the two to get Knitting Knights! When she’s not working on her comic or knitting, she likes to collect coloring pages and read about World War II. She can be found on Ravelry here and on deviantART here.

Yaviiniia uses a Disney Princess pop-up pencil to sketch her art, and then inks it with Sakura Micron pens. After scanning the artwork, she adds finishing touches (and sometimes color) using GIMPshop 2.2.

About the webmistress:

Lirin is Vii’s older sister, a college student (and homeschool graduate) who is majoring in music and computer science. Having therefore slightly more computer skills than Vii, she has taken upon herself the task of maintaining this blog. She enjoys knitting and crocheting equally, and is almost done with her first quilt. Lirin can be found on Ravelry here.

  1. Terrific work! I love it!

  2. This is so much fun! I love anime, a little manga, and knitting so this is perfect! I kinda want to dress up as Cassie for Halloween 😀
